Mathematics

We can offer individualised programmes of study based on mathematical topics in the National Curriculum. Children are invited to study at the tutor's home in order to ensure all the appropriate equipment is available for use when necessary. I can also offer the specific 11+ tuition in mathematics, required for all the grammar schools in the area.

Reading

At A Grade Tuition we value reading and can cater for all needs. We can teach the children how to decode, but also to take it much further, ensuring comprehension of a variety of texts from different cultures. Ultimately our aim is to capture their enjoyment of books and to develop their imagination within their own writing.

English

At A Grade Tuition we really value the fundamentals that are taught at an early age - the importance of phonics, punctuation, grammar, rich vocabulary and sentence structure. We genuinely want children to maintain a love of reading - and we aim to get them to enjoy it as much as their computer games! I can also offer the specific 11+ tuition in English, required for all the grammar schools in the area.

Writing

We can offer programmes of writing, which start with excellent sentence structure and progress to redrafted final best copies; that your child will only be too proud to show his/her teacher.

Parents' room

Parents are welcome to stay. We have a separate room for your comfort, where you can see your child at all times.
